Falling Down On The Job

A view of Heidelburg from the castle

It’s not that I’ve been avoiding you all, I swear it’s not. It’s just that I’ve been having so much fun enjoying the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of the land along the Rhine. I think about you all the time and wish you could be here with me on this lovely holiday. There is so much I can’t wait to post about when I return home. I want to share it all with you and I hope you’ll enjoy the ride.

Last night was the last of our cruise portion and I’m sad to see it go. There have been so many wonderful people that we’ve met and gotten to know. Today, I should be in Basel en route to Luzern (or Lucerne). I technically should be there now, but a broken river lock has forced our ship to return to its last port of Breisach. But it won’t get us down.

Since I’m not sure if I’ll have internet access or time while I’m in Switzerland, I will use a phrase of Tigger: TTFN.

Ta ta for now.

Don't let me do all the blogging, join in the conversation. Otherwise, I just feel like I'm talking to myself...
